The American Health Assistance Foundation and the Asbury Methodist Village partnered to host a mini health fair and workshops on Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There was a macular degeneration presentation by Dr. Jacque Duncan from the University of California-San Francisco, nutrition workshops, and Part 2 of the HBO Documentary—The Alzheimer’s Project, Momentum in Science Series. The American Health Assistance Foundation and the Asbury Methodist Village partnered to host a special community screening and discussion of the HBO Series, The Alzheimer’s Project to bring awareness to the community about this devastating disease and to share caregiving tips and information on cutting edge research.
