An honor or memory gift is a meaningful way to honor someone special in your life while supporting the mission of the American Health Assistance Foundation and our three programs: Alzheimer’s Disease Research; National Glaucoma Research; and Macular Degeneration Research. We are grateful that you wish to donate to us in honor or in memory of a loved one, and there are different ways you can do this: The Bench, Tree and Paver Program This program enables you to permanently honor or memorialize a loved one, friend or colleague. In Honor Gifts are a special way to acknowledge the important people living in your life, and are often given on special occasions, such as a friend's or relative's birthday, graduation, or anniversary. They are also appropriate gifts for holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. To make a gift in honor of a friend or relative, please choose from the following options: In Memory Gifts are a special way to memorialize someone special who has passed away. When a Memorial or Honor gift is received by AHAF, a letter is sent to the donor to acknowledge the gift, as well as to any persons that the donor indicates should receive an acknowledgment card. . This may include the family of the deceased or the person being honored, informing samples of the acknowledgment cards (Note: The amount of the gift is not revealed.) To make a gift in memory of a friend or relative, please choose from the following options: You may also send your donation via postal mail. If you choose to mail your contribution, please be sure to include a note indicating the name of the person you are honoring or memorializing, as well as the name and address of anyone who should receive an acknowledgment of your generous donation.
