Lasting Tributes

Tribute pages are a meaningful way to honor or memorialize a family member or friend, and support the mission of the American Health Assistance Foundation (AHAF). You can choose to support AHAF or one of our three programs: Alzheimer’s Disease Research; National Glaucoma Research; or Macular Degeneration Research.

Creating a tribute page allows you to share your loved one's story with friends and family regardless of whether they live in your hometown or in other parts of the world. Visitors to your page can take action by making a donation, posting messages of encouragement, or by sharing your page with their friends.

AHAF's Lasting Tribute Management Center will help you keep track of the donations that you receive by sending you notifications everytime an action is taken on your page.

Building Your Tribute Page is Easy

  1. Build it - Building your page should only take between 5 to 10 minutes. Customize your page by writing a personal story or adding a photo. Then you can post your tribute online and make it open to the general public or make it private to share with friends and family only.

  2. Share it - Your friends and family won't know about your page until you tell them about it. Send out emails, and post it on Facebook or Twitter. When posting, provide a direct link or URL to your tribute page.

  3. Update it - Now that you’ve built it and are sharing it, you will want to keep it up to date. Interact with friends and family. The "Lasting Tributes" management center enables you to send emails, post updates to your page, and check on the impact that your page is making.
