Lasting Tributes

Whether you choose to create a tribute page as a meaningful way to honor or memorialize someone special, you will also be helping to support the mission of the American Health Assistance Foundation and our three programs: Alzheimer’s Disease Research; National Glaucoma Research; and Macular Degeneration Research.

Our Lasting Tribute Pages are personalized web pages that enable you to share your loved one’s story with friends, family and co-workers, regardless of whether they live in your hometown or in other parts of the world.

Sharing your story not only brings hope and strength to others, it also provides a way to champion your fight against Alzheimer’s disease, macular degeneration, and/or glaucoma, and encourage others to join your cause. Visitors to your page can take action by making a donation, posting messages of encouragement, or by sharing your page with others.

When you create a tribute page in honor, or in memory of a loved one, you become a champion, helping to increase awareness about these devastating diseases.

Building Your Tribute Page is Easy

All you have to do is:

  1. Build it - Building your page should only take between 5 and 10 minutes. Customize your own page by writing a personal story or adding a photo. Then you can post the tribute online and make it available to the general public or only to friends and family to whom you provide the web address of your page.

  2. Share it - Even though your page is available online, your friends and family will not be able to see it until you tell them about it. Email those whom you care about and tell them about the tribute that you’ve created. Make sure to include a direct link to your page so that it is easy for them to find.

  3. Update it - Now that you’ve built it and are sharing it, you will want to keep it up to date. Interact with your friends and family. The "Lasting Tributes" management center enables you to send emails, post updates to your page, and check on the impact that your page is making.
