Macular Degeneration Research
Symptoms
The dry form of macular degeneration will initially often cause slightly
blurred vision. The center of vision may then become blurred and this region
grows larger as the disease progresses. No symptoms may be noticed if only
one eye is affected. In wet macular degeneration, straight lines may appear
wavy and central vision loss can occur rapidly.
