Since the National Glaucoma Research (NGR) program began in 1978, AHAF has awarded more than $14.2 million to support basic research into the causes and potential treatments of this disease. NGR is currently supporting 29 biomedical researchers. A complete list of all National Glaucoma Research grants is available in PDF format for viewing or printing. The application receipt deadline for 2008 funding is on November 16, 2007. Applications must have been received in the AHAF office by this date.
